Service Description
PRE-REQ: Completion of Level 1A Camp or Class at CFTA. Level 1B takes young roboticists on an exciting journey into space exploration, building upon the foundational skills acquired in Level 1A. Students apply their robotics knowledge to simulate real-world space missions, such as deploying satellites and cleaning up space debris. Using robotic arms and navigational techniques, they tackle challenges inspired by space missions fostering critical thinking. This project-based program not only deepens their understanding of robotics but also ignites their passion for space science and technology. By the end of Level 1B, students will understand and apply project concepts such as planning, designing, and deployment, combining technical expertise with creative vision to prepare them for future innovations in space exploration and beyond. All robotics technology, laptops, and software is provided for an amazing week learning together. The campers and teachers will host a showcase on Friday to demonstrate their new skills. NOTE: Our Robotics curriculum is based on a graduation model. Completion of both 1A & 1B sessions is required prior to entry into Level 2.
