Service Description

**PREREQUISITE: Adult needs to have sewing experience OR needs to have taken one of CFTA's previous Sewing with Kids classes (Pillowcases, Tote Bags, Skirt, Lounge Pants, or Shirt) Spend intentional time together learning and completing a custom skirt! The instructor will walk you step-by-step through the sewing process so you can successfully create your project (and make some special memories!) To BRING: Sewing Machine. If you do not have a sewing machine, we recommend the Brother Sewing Machine (as found at Costco). Fabric: 1 1/2 yards 45” wide woven fabric (NO knits, stripes, or plaids) Thread (matching your fabric) Bobbins Basic Sewing Supplies: Shears, Pins, Tape Measure, Seam Ripper, Seam gauge, Needles, etc. Pattern and Elastic for waistband are provided.
